My first job was working at a Baskin Robbins ice cream shop when I was 16. After that I worked as a waitress and as a summer camp counselor. For most of my jobs since then, I have submitted a resume ("re-zuh-may") before interviewing with the company.
ReplyDeleteResumes are called CV's (Curriculum Vitae) in many countries. To create your resume or to update one you already have, check out some of these websites, below. It's especially useful to look at the example resumes. You can even post your resume online at sites like monstser.com.

My first job was at a restaurant called Chicos. I saw a "Now Hiring" sign in the window of the restaurant, so I went inside and asked for an application. When I finished the application, the manager told me that he would like to interview me for the job. He asked me many questions about my skills and schedule. I told him that I could speak a little Spanish, and that I could work weeknights and weekends. He told me that he would hire me if I could begin that evening.
